Once the supply is there after CHRISTmas then the 360 should drop their price 50 or 100. And don't bundle some lame year old game like clone wars with the xbox 1. That doesn't define itself nearly as good as a solid price drop.
Once the competitions supply levels out...THAN and only then makes the most sense to drop the 360's price. Although doing it before CHRISTmas would still work to their advantage.

TMoney, I get what your saying and I partially agree. MS will do this to just seal the deal. They certainely didn't have to, but it's a way to better define themselves against the Wii low price and high PS3 price.

wow, this is great but it does have its drawbacks. Like too many people waiting till CHRISTmas to buy a 360 will lead to shortages. Instead of people buying steadily.
I'd say a 50 dollar drop is reasonable. A 100 dollar drop is monumental.
the only message to get from cutscenes is that it won't be as good as they show. They'll probably still be good games its just that they decieve buyers.

I'm even more annoyed how people think they'll look the same as the cutscene. Really people, Sony has you dangling on their finger. All PS3 demos collectively were unimpressive at E3. Their first year's gonna be rough.
Don't know if you guys realize how powerful of a message it is to have everybody's favorite PC games on the 360. When a casual guy walks into a store and sees the 360 games having a dozen PC games he used to adore a year ago, the persuasion is obvious. The more PC games the better, even though they only usually match a PC's performance....who really has a quad sli Dell.
Costing 1000s, PC gaming was dead to me years ago.
